Job description:

ION IT, a software services company which is part of a multinational group, requires a ‘go getter’ salesperson to achieve new purchase orders of at least £750k per year selling software solution development services and enterprise BI and Analytics solutions to the UK and European companies.

The qualifications required are summarised below:

  • 7 plus years of experience in lead generation, business development and sales, ideally to USA or Europe
  • Should have experience in entire sales process from lead generation to business closure as an individual performer for minimum 4-5 years.
  • Should have experience in selling software services and Solutions.
  • Service line coverage – Software solutions development & engineering services, Enterprise BI & Analytics, RPA, EDI and Transport Management – primarily in Microsoft Stack.
  • Experience in one of the industry sectors – Manufacturing, Retail or Supply Chain & Logistics vertical.
  • Experience of building strategy and understanding of business dynamics.
  • Effective communication with prospects through written and verbal presentations.
  • Support sales and market planning.
  • Track record of closing business worth £0.75M plus in each of the last two years.
  • Effective verbal and written communication capability and customer handling record evidenced by repeat business.
  • Must have right to work in the UK.
  • Graduate or equivalent education level

Achievements will be well rewarded. Experience of the candidate must support the achievement of the target above.

Remuneration:

  • Base salary range £55 to £60k per annum
